Net Bible Academy has a clear vision - to equip you for service (Ephesians 4:12)!. We offer three streams of teaching which form part of a wider Christian ministry and leadership focus. The three streams are Theology, Application and Bible.
We offer various evenings courses including a one year Certificate in Christian Ministry or a two year Diploma course. We also have individual 8 week module courses available plus you can also sign up for one of our biblical language courses (Hebrew or Greek). For full information on each course see below.
Headed up by the brilliant Dr Glenn Balfour. Glenn has a Bachelor's Degree in Divinity with King's College, London, a Master's degree in Theology from Nottingham University and later acquired his Doctorate degree from Nottingham also. Glenn has both the wisdom from functioning as a church leader over many years and also incredible knowledge.
Glenn has vast experience not only of lecturing but until recently was the Principal of a highly respected Bible College in the UK.
Glenn’s teaching specialism is the two main biblical languages –New Testament Greek and Biblical Hebrew – as well as New Testament studies. He is the author of three great books.

This is one year course offers a Certificate in Christian Ministry and is divided into three great modules.
The first module is taught over a 4 week period on Monday evenings (7:30 – 9:30pm). It also involves a Saturday Outreach event as part of the first module. The other two modules are each taught over two weekends (Friday evenings: 7:30 – 9:30; Saturdays: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM).

This facebook live module will introduce the student to New Testament Greek.
This module begins with two weeks of Introductory Lessons. Following this, it comprises detailed study of ten lessons, which introduce the student to basic New Testament Greek. 1. Verbs: The Present Indicative Active 2. Verbs: -εω Verbs 3. Nouns: Second Declension ‘Masculine’ Nouns 4. Adjectives: The Definite Article – ‘The’ 5. Nouns: Second Declension Neuter Nouns 6. Nouns: First Declension Feminine Nouns (that end with -η) 7. Nouns: First Declension Feminine Nouns (that end with -α) 8. Nouns: First Declension Masculine Nouns 9. Adjectives: ‘2:1:2’ Adjectives (Part 1) 10. Adjectives: ‘2:1:2’ Adjectives (Part 2).
By the end of this module, students should be able to demonstrate three things: Knowledge and understanding of the elements of New Testament Greek covered in this module; the ability to translate from New Testament Greek to English and English into New Testament Greek; the ability to relate knowledge and understanding of New Testament Greek to the translation and comprehension of a given New Testament passage.
This facebook live module will introduce the student to basic biblical Hebrew.
Comprising of detailed studies of nine lessons, which introduce the student to basic Biblical Hebrew with Dr Glenn Balfour teaching live in a dedicated, private facebook group. This means once you have paid and provided your facebook details we will add you into this group so on the dates and times listed in the PDF below you can have Dr Glenn teach you live AND rewatch the lessons as many times as you need (they will remain on the private group site for up to 6 months after the course has finished.
The course is divided first into six introductory sections in reading and writing Hebrew: 1. A short history of the Hebrew Language. 2. A crash course on English Grammar. 3. The Hebrew Language. 4. Hebrew Consonants. 5. Hebrew Vowels. 6. Reading Hebrew. These introductory lessons are followed by three lessons in Hebrew comprehension: 1. The Verbless Sentence. 2. The Noun. 3. The Adjective.
By the end of this module, students should be able to demonstrate the following five things: an understanding of how the Hebrew language ‘works’; a good understanding of how to pronounce and write Hebrew characters and words; the ability to understand and translate simple ‘Verbless’ sentences; an understanding of nominal forms; the ability to give good translation of some simple biblical texts.
This is intensive module in Trinity, Incarnation and Atonement will explore three core doctrines of the Christian faith.
The uniqueness and significance of each of these doctrines to the Christian faith will be examined in turn. We will begin with Trinity – the doctrine that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are all distinct, yet all are the One God. We move on to the Incarnation – the doctrine that God became fully human in the person of Jesus Christ, without undermining his deity. We finish with the Atonement – the doctrine that the work and person of Jesus Christ (especially in his death and resurrection) restores relationship with God.

This is intensive module in John's Gospel will explore the structure, themes and key messages in this powerful biblical book.
We will work through the Gospel, chapter by chapter, paying particular attention to a number of selected passages. In the process of this, the student will build up an understanding and appreciation of the writer’s purpose and theology. You will also examine how the message and theology of the Gospel can be applied to both the local church and the individual believer today.
